The Beginning of Unique Critique!

:spotlight-left:Welcome to Unique-Critique!:spotlight-right:

I've created "U-C" in hopes of helping the community of DeviantArt and providing help to those who want to improve on their art. This club will be under construction until I can acquire more people to help and to get things more structured, but please expect to see it going soon!

:megaphone:The Rundown:

So what are the plans for this club?
Aside from simple critiques on Deviations, my goal is to set up a friendly system in which people will help those on their art as they work; before they submit the final product.
I know from personal experience how frustrating it is to work so hard on something, submit it, and get some very helpful critiques, but since the piece has already been finished, it's difficult to go back and fix most things.
Suppose your not the kind of person that likes to post their unfinished art up on their account. Maybe you'd rather your viewers not see it till it's done? But are you still concerned about some things and don't know who to turn to?
Soon you won't need to worry. I'm going to work hard on finding a variety of artists to turn to when you need help, or simply need to have some one double check your work.

:pencil:Red-Lining:

Some friends and I help each other with something we call "Red-Lining". If you've never seen these magical red lines, then they're here to help you!
Actually, they don't necessarily have to be red. But this is basically a visual critiquing technique. (Wow, that's fun to say, haha.)
Basically, the critiquer, will take the artists progress and go over it with some red guidelines, (or any color, mind you.) to help the artist see visual aid on their work and help them more.
Sometimes simple text cannot explain enough to help the artist fully understand your crit, so red lining is a real life saver!

If you would like to participate in this club in any way, feel free to note the club! If you do not get a response back within a couple days, then don't hesitate to note me, *nestly if you have any questions.

Hopefully I'll get this started real soon!
Good luck and keep drawin'!~:music:
